Dear St. Patrick Families, This year, St. Patrick School is participating in the National Catholic Educational Association’s Day of Giving campaign.  This campaign is set to occur during Catholic Schools Week and is meant as an opportunity for people to give to their local Catholic schools.  Please read below for more information on this campaign. TWENTY YEARS AGO, Saint Pope John Paul II said to an audience of Catholic educators in New Orleans, “Yours is a great gift to the Church, a great gift to your nation.”Countless people in our country have been blessed by the many gifts of Catholic schools. They have carried what they have learned and witnessed with them; however, many have lost touch with their local Catholic school community. It is time for these people to reconnect with Catholic schools and give back. It is with this recognition in mind that the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) is pleased to present Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools. The day is meant, first and foremost, to support Catholic schools in their already existing development and advancement efforts. Scheduled for January 29, 2019, 12 PM EST to January 30, 2019 12 PM EST, this is a time for individuals to give to their local Catholic school.By leveraging social media, this national day of philanthropy and camaraderie will invite all people, across the country, who have been impacted by Catholic school education in ways big and small, to donate at a local level. In the days ahead, you will be given a link where you can participate in the day of giving campaign.  We hope that you will take part in sharing this link with your friends and family who may be willing to participate as well!   Thank you!
